Seville, Spain RTC Training Camp

For a week starting on the 6 February, the RTC ventured south, way south, to Sunny Spain for training. Delft was reporting -20 degree Celsius weather so it was definitely time to go. Most days had two training sessions, with the morning holding the most intensity. All RTC athletes would meet for an 8:30.a.m briefing and then get ready to battle it out for various 2km intervals at various stroke ratings. The afternoon was about sharpening up your technique. At the end, there was a little party and speeches from coaches John and Ans. The camp was a huge success with athletes making huge improvements and the way forward could only result to faster speeds in racing!
